Ten Year Anniversary Celebration

West Cork Arts Centre, Skibbereen  "MAKING MEMORIES"With design historian, Sarah Foster, as guest curator this show celebrates ten years since the Guild was established in 1997. A fully illustrated catalogue is being specially published for this exhibition. The Guild has over the years exhibited extensively at home in West Cork, as well as in galleries in Dublin, Athlone, Sligo, and the National Craft Gallery in Kilkenny. This show brings together work from the twenty Guild members, all of whom live and work in West Cork. Several of them will be staging demonstrations of their working process at the Arts Centre during the show. For further information, please contact the Arts Centre at 028-22090. The exhibition opens on Friday,November 30th, at 8pm, and continues daily Monday to Saturday, 10am - 5pm, until December 22nd 2007. (closed Sundays). | |||||
